We used to sell a $29/month AI SaaS. We shut it down: subscriptions create the wrong incentives — they reward keeping you dependent, not getting you to your first dollar. So we flipped the model. The content is free; the businesses featured in it pay us.
How we make money

Affiliate links
When we recommend a platform — Etsy, Gumroad, a hosting provider — the link may be an affiliate link. If you sign up, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never affects what we recommend: we only list platforms we'd suggest to a friend.

Sponsors
Relevant companies can sponsor placements in the directory or newsletter. Sponsored placements are always labeled as sponsored, and sponsors never influence guide content or rankings.

Job posts
Employers will be able to pay a flat fee to post beginner-friendly gigs on our jobs board. Job seekers always browse and apply for free.

Display ads
Light, non-intrusive display advertising on high-traffic pages. No pop-ups, no autoplay video, no interstitial walls between you and the content.
